MESMERIZING SIBELIUS

Sibelius Finland Experience is a journey into the musical world of Jean Sibelius and into Finland at the same time. Concert, which lasts a little bit less than one hour, is a mixture of organ music and visualizations. Illustrations are made by icon of graphic design Erik Bruun. His art is a key to understand Finnish nature and mind, so like compositions of Sibelius.

Jean Sibelius (1865 - 1957) is the national composer of Finland. On the concert we will listen to symphonic poem “Finlandia” (1899), ”Sad Valse” (Valse triste) and also suite “Karelia», which presents  Finnish nature and relationship with it . The music of Sibelius is opening out human nature and wild nature at the same time. In that way, his music affects all of us around the World. Ideas which were put by composer into the music speaks to generations.
