Mezzo-soprano Virpi Räisänen, who has triumphed at La Scala in Milan, the Philharmonie in Berlin and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, is the soloist in this premiere. Rapidly rising conductor Nil Venditti makes his debut in Lahti as an interpreter of Italian music.
