Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in Max Richter’s version, heard two years ago as an online concert, will now be experienced as it should be: in a live concert, energized by a large audience. Richter is one of the most important film composers of our time and his vision of this perennial violin concerto classic takes us on a journey to the heart of the baroque and contemporary ambience. Marzi Nyman’s acclaimed Violin Concerto is wild and free – as befits the nation’s guitar hero.
