Lahti Symphony Orchestra: May Day Matinee

May Day would not be May Day without the Lahti Symphony Orchestra’s May Day matinee. As usual, there are balloons to be burst and a drinks to be sampled, buckled brass and scrambled strings. The repertoire for this year’s matinee is a mixture of pieces that the audience, soloists, conductor and orchestral musicians have requested. In other words, the line-up is guaranteed to be colourful – with or without bubbles.
