Lahti Symphony Orchestra: Under Vienna’s Spell – New Year’s concert

The New Year begins with the traditional Lahti Symphony Orchestra New Year concert! To celebrate the occasion, the Sibelius Hall will be filled with glitter and elegance – a programme of beloved classics in the spirit of the Viennese New Year concerts.

In this concert you can enjoy the charming waltzes and lively polkas of the Strauss dynasty, which have entertained audiences since the 19th century. Other operetta and dance music favourites of the period will also be performed by some of Finland’s top singers under the baton of conductor Markus Lehtinen.
