‘In the morning, with all my senses alert, I looked into the eyes of my life…’ The melodies of Finnish cinema are full of classics honed through the ages, such as the Ballad from Mika Kaurismäki’s family drama The Clan and the Romance from the period drama Katariina and the Count of Munkkiniemi. What gems can be found when the Lahti Symphony Orchestra delves into the bottomless treasure chest of Finnish film music?

These nostalgia-invoking pieces, drenched in lush sonorities, are performed by symphony orchestra with the Jussi award-winning actress Oona Airola and Finland’s Freddie Mercury and a regular star of musicals, Mikael Saari.

The lenght of the concert is about 2 hours, including intermission.
