The Music of Hans Zimmer (BEL)

The international La Chapelle Sauvage orchestra of young professional musicians will arrive in Finland in September with its The Music of Hans Zimmer concert. The concerts will feature a fine selection of the famous composer’s most beloved songs. The orchestra, conducted by Karel De Wilde, will feature the talented Belgian soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven as the soloist. Ticket sales for the concerts start today.

The Music of Hans Zimmer concerts, to be held in Finland in September, will feature the most beloved classics of film music performed by the Belgian La Chapelle Sauvage orchestra, which is visiting Finland for the first time. The orchestra, which consists of young professional musicians, will be conducted by its founder Karel De Wilde, and the concert’s soloist will be soprano Louise Kuyvenhoven, who has been selected as an exceptionally talented musician to be part of the special training program of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, one of the most prestigious music academies in the world. Louise, who has also performed at the Belgian National Opera, is also a member of the French Lyon Opéra Studio.

The concert will feature compositions by Hans Zimmer, who has won countless awards, from an Oscar to two Golden Globes and four Grammys. The concert will feature songs from films such as The Da Vinci Code, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Kung Fu Panda, The Lion King, the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Sherlock Holmes. The concerts will be held in intimate halls, where the musical experience will be supported by clips from the films shown on video screens and photographs from the film era.
