Direct from Italy, THE ITALIAN TENORS are three of Europe’s most successful operatic tenors who have become a worldwide pop-opera phenomenon. Evans Tonon, Sabino Gaita and Luca Sala. The Italian Tenors combine their classical roots with Neapolitan songs and their own blend of Italian pop which is not only evident on their self titled album but is sung with the flair and virtuosity that is uniquely the Italian Tenors.
The Italian Tenors have been professionals on the opera stages for years. For all three it was always exciting to combine their musical background of classical music with their penchant for Italian pop music. Already with their debut album “That’s Amore” they caused a sensation and intoned with class and verve Italian pop songs. With the help of the orchestral sound, arranged with dedication and skill they gallantly break through the genre boundaries and use their musical talents to conjure a new, pop-oriented Italian Bel Canto.
With vocal power, personality and Italian charm THE ITALIAN TENORS create a fantastic mix of passion and music, taking the audience on a musical journey through Italy. Wide melody lines above the quietly progressing classical arrangements offer the three singers plenty of room to let their wonderful voices unfold. A similar sound concept, for example, also conveys the piece “Con Te Partirò” (better known as “Time To Say Goodbye”), which, held in a gentle bolero rhythm, opens the royal road to the tri-color vocal power of the tenors.
Their tour promises all the Italian charm and vocal power and together with their live band, the evening promises to be an incredible musical montage of vocal passion and entertainment excellence.
